with all my stress power...

Yes, I'm very much under stress.
The film's pretty much finished (for now). Which we had to hand in on 1st of June.
All the material hand-in were also due the same day.
And I am still stressing out.
This Degree Show is really giving me massive dark circles.
It was my mistake to get some work done from scratch I think.
Anyway, this piece was done with all that power that came from this stress.
I got up at 5,6 am this morning, thinking I had to keep going and finish all I had to do. (I only ended up doing only one though)

What can I say, I was not really myself.

But then, my friends might tell you differently. (especially after you watch my film)

something amusing...

Well, because of the up-coming show I've been doing pieces of work to hang.
I think I'm really beginning to get to know Photoshop a little better.
This image was what I planned to use for business card, and I found this quite funny.
It was originally going to portrary a cat in distress...and now it's a cat princess and a cat in distress.

Samples for Postcards

For self-promotion materials for our up-coming Degree Show I had to design completely from scratch for these two images.
I'm quite happy with them. I think it shows my personality.

More tests...

Yay! Some more line tests here!
I needed to re-time some of them, so hopely the timing is alright now.
Just finished scanning all of my animations! (although there are 22 scenes - I thought there were 25, my mistake in counting - and considerably lower than rest of my friends...and it took the whole day!)
Anyway, I feel my fingers trembling...too much of it I guess.
Sorry, Kostas - can I call you that? - I'm late in posting.

The first one is again the Hallucination Scene...the bit missing is the rabbit waving, which have been posted earlier.
The Arm breaking is a bit off-timed here...although this has been re-timed. I think it needs longer on pauses.

The following ones are what happens earlier in the film.
This one is the scene where the boy is introduced, playing with a doll.

The little boy drooling with shiny eyes...(that's the 'desire in my eyes' look)

Where Granny 'was' sleeping, or so the little boy thought...

confused? I suppose no sound will make it less understandable. The little one thought Granny was asleep, he was just checking to make sure...when Granny is wide awake! It does turn out she sleeps with her eyes wide open lol! I heard she looks scary! Yay!

He finally gets to eat his sweets! But he becomes scary...

some line tests...

Here are some very rough line tests...

Rough summary: (of this particular section)
The boy consumes such large amount of sweeties and as a result starts to hallucinate.
The first scene of hallucination is where he sees a bunny rabbit waving to him. This rabbit is made of candies because he's in a land of candies! Accidentaly the rabbit's arm breaks and the boy, unable to resist the sweet smell of sweeties, eats it! Then what happens? Please look at them all in order to find out...

The hero!

The hero of my film, the boy who has addiction to sweets.
I'm still wondering if I should make him a 'baby' rather than a boy...

Character Designs...

At the moment I'm making a film about a boy who happens to have addiction to sweets.
There are quite a number of characters and one of the important character is the 'evil grandma'!
She doesn't look so evil right now, but she will reveal her true nature sooner or later...
From the top is the most recent picture. Personally, I think the top one looks better than the other two...
